I have found that the old printer is mentioned in two different places. I have searched the configuration folder in LibreOffice. I am utterly stumped as to what could be going on, and how to fix it. My guess is that somehow Chrome has a record of my old printer, maybe from an old Chromebook? And then LibreOffice is bizarrely trying to print to that old computer via Chrome? How did LibreOffice get hold of my old printer, and why is Chrome going nuts when I (accidentally) try to print to that old non-existent printer?
When printing to that printer from LibreOffice, my Chrome browser uses 100% CPU. LibreOffice is offering me only an old printer from years ago, long gone to recycling. Ubuntu has the correct printer in Settings > Printers. My Ubuntu Settings has the correct printer, with no sign of my old printer (and why would it show the old one? I got rid of it a few years before I got my current computer). It doesn't show the correct printer at all. On looking to see what the problem might be, LibreOffice had offered me an old printer from literally years ago, a long time before I even got my current computer. On closing Chrome, the CPU usage stopped. Unknown to me, it was showing the wrong printer. I tried to print something from LibreOffice. Msiexec /qn /i LibreOffice_7.5.1_Win_x86-64.msi /l* LibreOffice_install_log.Something bizarre is happening to me with LibreOffice. Have any of you fiddled around with LibreOffice deployments and maybe can point me in the right direction on how to achieve this goal as for now I'm unable to figure out what's wrong in the commands as it exactly how it's stated in the documentation (of course, if it is up to date). "gm_p_Calc,gm_p_Base,gm_p_Math,gm_p_Impress,gm_p_Writer" at the very end of the command as all the default application get installed.
However, it does not work as expected - seems like all the Remove arguments are working as expected, excluding the applications, e.g.
I have studied the LibreOffice deployment documentation here - and crafted the install command below. My goal is to install only LibreOffice Draw application.
